Yes, I finally expanded my Mythic Bastionland obsession into a game that isn’t even Mythic Bastionland, and you can read about how in my latest Daggerheart campaign update.

What else am I ever talking about? I’d already made a video about this, but here’s the blog post version of some thoughts on the value of disappointment.

Game designers absolutely need to make money but also can we please think of my poor wallet. The things I’m excited about:

Seven Part Pact, just like everyone else. All my friends are lamenting that this is surely unplayable, which has made me completely determined to get it and get at least one game in.

Ivory Tower, if you want a different flavour of hubristic wizards. I want them in every flavour, personally.

Midnight of the Century is not my usual vibe—I like supernatural mysteries, less keen on serial killers—but there is a Portland setting guide so I do literally need this
